We are investigating electricity as part of the Year 4 curriculum. The children were given the tools to build a circuit and light a bulb and left to investigate how to do it. They asked questions such as "What would happen if we joined it all together to make a really big circuit?" Then the children experimented to find out their answer!
We then discussed switches, complete and incomplete circuits.
Finally, the children were given different materials to test in the circuit to see if electricity flowed through.
