Where are we?
As part of our investigation into 'How Bradford helped changed the world', the children were required to develop their geographical understanding of their own location by using a compass. First the children went out into the playground to investigate their compass, and see how they worked with no prior discussion. We came back together to discuss what they noticed. Then we asked the children to turn and face North, South, East then West.
