Last week we worked with a film company to talk about what anti bullying means to us. A film was then produced to showcase our work. We hope you like it.
Children in Years 4 and 5 have been working with schools from Hull over the last few months to look at the similarities and differences in our schools. They have also focused on our community of Wyke and Bradford and the history of both including how Shirley Manor Primary was formed.
The whole school have been involved in finding out about our heritage and on the 10th June, some children from Years 4 and 5 went to Castleford to showcase what they had found out.
As a treat for their hard work, they also took part in sledging at Snozone.
Over the last few weeks, children throughout Years 1-6 have been planning, designing and making a Platinum Pudding to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June.
Each class was asked to choose 1 entry from the following categories:-
Best Pudding
Best Design
Best Cookery Video
