Some classes within school have been selected to take part in the STEmazing Inspiration Academy, including Year 4. This encourages children to develop their curiosity, creativity and courage within the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The children will take part in live online lessons with female role models in the above fields.
Week One
The children investigated push forces by using straws, and rockets!
Week 2
The children investigated the strength of different shaped struts that are used in bridges.
Week four
The children investigated how air works on surfaces by building their own 'twirlers'!
They built different shaped twirlers and observed how each of them moved through the air.
