Neighbourhood Warden visit
We met some wonderful Neighbourhood Wardens today. The children enjoyed learning all about their role. They discussed how littering can have a detrimental impact on the environment for both humans and animals. They also discussed how the use of CCTV can identify people guilty of littering. The children thoroughly enjoyed pretending to be Warden themselves. They got to issue fixed penalty notices for litter and dog fouling in role play situations.
Midwife visit
A midwife came to visit us. It was so much fun! The children enjoyed learning all about the role of a midwife and even got to weigh and measure babies.
