Mathematics

The aim of the mathematics curriculum at Shirley Manor Primary Academy is to provide an ambitious, connected curriculum which promotes Independent Learning, Aspirations and Fresh Experiences.

 

By following the White Rose Maths Hub scheme of work, the curriculum aims to allow all pupils in school from EYFS through to the end of Year 6 to master Mathematics. We strive for all pupils to become fluent fundamental facts; be able to provide reasons and calculate efficiently; and to solve problems effectively.
