Louise cam into class to discuss her role as a civil engineer. She is in charge of traffic lights! Show showed the children how she plans her job and the different places she works in. She showed the children the tools that she needs to complete her job safely, including some extremely thick rubber gloves that stops her getting electrocuted! She discussed how she keeps safe in the dark and which reflective jacket keeps her the safest. Then show encouraged the children to design their own towns. After they put in the roads, the children could put in any shops or houses they wanted to make their towns successful. This included Home Bargains, and several pubs!
