Every day until 5pm
Our after school club is open every day from 3:10pm to 5:00pm for children in F2 to Y6. Children are supervised in the Nursery area in a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Activities and games are provided and if weather permits, they may play outside. The cost to attend the after school club is £3.00 per child per night. Providing your child has a place booked at after school club, he/she can still attend other organised extra curricular activities, which usually finish at 4 – 4:15pm, and then join the after school club until 5pm; this will be charged at £1.50. Children can bring a snack to school with them to eat before the club; drinking water is always made available.
We only have 16 places available and these will be prioritised for those parents who need childcare due to work commitments. If you would like a place for your child/children in our after school club, please complete the attached form indicating which days they will be attending. If your child will only be attending the club occasionally, it is imperative that you contact the school office the day before to check availability.
Fees should be paid in advance at the start of every week, however if your child is only attending the club on the odd occasion they can be paid on the night. Please do not allow arrears to build, should this happen a reminder will be sent home. If a second reminder has to be sent and fees remain unpaid, unfortunately your child will not be able to attend the club.
Excellent behaviour along with respect for staff and school equipment is
expected from the children at all times.
If your child is poorly behaved or misuses equipment, they may be excluded from staying to the club. School will contact you to advise of any exclusion.
PLEASE NOTE – CHILDREN MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE FOUNDATION STAGE USING THE DOOR NEXT TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE SCHOOL NO LATER THAN 5:00PM
Parents will be charged a late fee for any collections after 5:00pm. This will be charged at £1.50 for the first ½ hour and 50p per minute after this time. Persistent late collections will result in parents being asked to find an alternative provider.
